What is the School of Workers’ (SOW) Training Program?

on
Dec 6, 2014

The School of Workers (SOW) is a God-given training tool of Tribes and Nations Outreach (TNO) birthed out of the great need for a simple but effective and catalytic training program for the churches in Asia and other parts of the world.

SOW is designed to train nationals to win their own people for Christ, who will, in turn, do evangelism and establish witness churches in the unreached nations in Asia.

Since 1985, SOW has been effectively used to equip Christian workers in the Philippines, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Indonesia, China, India and Nepal.

SOW is divided into three modules:

Module 1

trains the church members and new believers in the foundation of Christianity. After Module 1, the trainee is instructed to go and bear fruit—win at least 5 new converts that the trainee must take care of. (12 sessions)

Module 2

helps the believers-turned-workers grow in their faith. Only those who have finished Module 1 and have 5 new converts which they are taking care of, are qualified to take Module 2. After the seminar, the trainee is instructed to win another 10 converts that he must again take care of. (17 sessions)

Module 3

Makes the workers strong even in the midst of persecution. Only those who have taken Modules 1&2 and have 15 converts are qualified for Module 3. (10 sessions)
