Last March 3, 2015, NFS Foundation Ministry, Tribes and Nations Outreach (TNO), Jesus Is Alive Community (JIA), San Mateo Pastor’s League and other members of the Body of Christ gathered for the groundbreaking of a Model FAITH (Food Always In The Home) garden in Earthaven, San Mateo Rizal to dedicate the land and to mark the beginning of renovations in the site.

Instead of the usual “shovel in the ground” ceremony, the guests were asked to roam around, lay their hands on things that caught their interest, in sights their eyes could reach and offer a prayer as a gesture of dedicating the land.  Meanwhile, Bro. Wyden King and Bro Benjamin Yu, Jr. made the ultimate gesture of dedication by laying their hands on the ground while the attendees uttered prayers of declaration with them.

As part of the ceremony, communion was celebrated so that everyone could come together as Christ’s body to remember and celebrate what Christ did for the place and project. Wine was poured to the ground to symbolize the blood of Jesus covering the place.

To bless the FAITH Garden and Natural Farming (FGNF) staff, Bro Wyden King anointed the heads of Bro Benjamin Yu, Jr., Ptr. Dennis Tungol, Ptra. Amy Patacsil, Ptr. Arnold Patacsil and Sis. Nelly Delizo to release God’s favor and call to the team.

This unique celebration marked the fulfillment of many people’s long and untiring effort in prayer and support to bring the Model FAITH garden  to life, a place envisioned to be the hub of organic food and a model of organic farming that is within the city during this end time Earthaven is envisioned as an accessible, year-round facility that will also be anavenue of opportunities to accommodate field trips, camps and training ground for different projects such as Faith Garden and Natural Farming (FGNF), OFW-Kabayan Help Desk (OFWK),  Local Church Based Training Center (LCBTC), and 24-Hour Houses of Prayer (24-HHP). Earthaven, San Mateo will be a place dedicated to build the kingdom of God that will benefit the Body of Christ and the community.
