“But I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might show you my power and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.” Exodus 9:16 In 1985, Brother Joseph, along with the late Benjamin Baluyot, founded Tribes and Nations Outreach (TNO), an organization committed to build the Body of Christ in Asia through training of the nationals and bringing encouragement to the suffering churches in the mission field. Since its founding, TNO became active in reaching out to Asia starting from the Philippines. The School of Workers (SOW) Seminar, using the book Witness To All Nations, has changed the lives of so many in Asia. SOW is a simple and modular training program designed to train the nationals to become workers so they can win their own people for Christ who will, in turn, do evangelism and establish witness churches. By the end of the year 2000, TNO was active in 10 countries including China, Vietnam, and Nepal having equipped 13,308 SOW Trained Graduates and delivered 545,369 Bibles in restricted countries. At the turn of the millennium, TNO went through a paradigm-shift which resulted in the establishment of the Asia Strike Force (ASF), composed of two training arms, namely, the LCBTC Training Force, and the FAITH Techno Force. As of 2013, TNO created the OFW-Kabayan Program (OFWK) with a vision to vision to improve the plight of distressed Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs). The goal is to bring care to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) & their families as well as to raise 1 million OFW missionaries by the year 2020. Today, TNO has established strategic strongholds in Asia through the LCBTC and FGNF, with visionary teams of nationals giving continuous training in their own countries even without the physical presence of TNO. These include: China, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, India, Hong Kong/ Macau, Bangladesh, Nepal, Indonesia, Myanmar, and the Philippines. In 2014, our ministry has also landed in the Middle East—in Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and UAE through the OFWK.
