Tribes and Nations Outreach invited twenty prospective faculty members for the 1st Orientation and Training for the TNO Missions Academy to be established in Qatar in 2016. The event was held on September 15-16 at Camp Benjamin in Alfonso, Cavite.

During this event, the prospective faculty members had a taste of what’s to come in this new endeavor through Bro. Joseph’s welcoming remarks. Afterwards, Bishop Hermie Malabanan introduced the Mission and Vision of TNO and the TNO Missions Academy. To lighten the mood, Bishop Hermie asked the attendees to introduce themselves so that others might get to know them and their ministry.  After dinnertime, Pastor Warfil de Leon gave a cultural orientation on Qatar and the Middle East which proved to be helpful for those who haven’t set foot in the area.

On the second day, the team had the chance to hear God’s word through Pastor June Alonzo, our TNO Senior Trainer about being watchful in prayer. After the ministry of the word, the team spent some time soaking in prayer to ask for God’s direction. After lunch, the attendees and the trainers had an open forum to clarify some matters regarding the academy. The attendees were dismissed in the afternoon and were free to enjoy the amenities of Camp Benjamin.
